SafiriPro ("SafiriPro", "we", "us") is a product of Peskaya Limited, a company registered in Kenya. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use SafiriPro, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. By using SafiriPro you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers two groups:
- Operators — the safari and travel businesses that sign up for a SafiriPro account to run their business.
- Travellers — the end clients of those operators, whose contact details and trip information an operator may enter into SafiriPro.
For traveller data, the operator is the data controller and SafiriPro is the data processor acting on their instructions.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — name, email, phone number, business name, and password.
- Billing details — billing address and payment information, handled by our payment processor (Paystack). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Content you upload — logos, brand assets, supplier rates, hotel and activity details, trip itineraries, and client contact records.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, actions taken, and approximate timestamps, used to improve the product.
- Device and log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Cookies — we use essential cookies to keep you signed in and a small number of analytics cookies to understand aggregate product usage.
Information from third parties
- Payment and subscription status from Paystack.
- Delivery confirmations from our email and WhatsApp messaging providers.
- Google Sign-In data — if you choose to create or access your account using "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address, email verification status, profile picture, and Google account identifier with us.
Google Sign-In
SafiriPro offers "Continue with Google" as an optional way to create or access your account. When you use it, we receive only your name, email address, email verification status, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We use this information solely to create and secure your SafiriPro account. We never receive your Google password, and we request only basic profile and email access — we do not access your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or any other Google service. SafiriPro's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the SafiriPro platform.
- To process subscription payments and send billing receipts.
- To send transactional messages — password resets, deal handoff alerts, overdue task reminders, and client quote activity notifications.
- To improve the product: fix bugs, prioritize features, and understand how operators use SafiriPro.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your data. We do not use the content you upload — your client lists, supplier rates, itineraries — to train third-party AI models.
4. AI features and your data
Some features use AI to draft itinerary narratives, email responses, or deal summaries. When you use these features, the specific prompt and relevant context are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. We contractually require our AI providers not to retain your inputs for training, and we only send the minimum context needed to produce a useful output.
5. Sharing your information
We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run SafiriPro — hosting, email delivery, WhatsApp messaging, AI inference, analytics, and customer support tools — bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Payment processors (Paystack) to handle your subscription billing.
- Legal authorities if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of SafiriPro, our users, or the public.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to affected users.
6. International transfers
SafiriPro is hosted on servers that may be located outside Kenya. When we transfer personal data across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a standard consistent with Kenya's Data Protection Act and applicable international frameworks.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or accounting obligations. Backups are retained on a rolling 30-day cycle and overwritten automatically.
8. Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act and similar frameworks, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) in Kenya.

9. Children
SafiriPro is a business tool not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy as the product and regulations evolve. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when the current version was published.
